[WIQPmail] Contest Hours

I would have loved to see it go 12 hours like some of the other states.  Never found anyone on 160m, and in fact it was just barely dark and 160m does not really get warmed up till it has been dark a little while.

Yes, I like the darkness hour.  As a fixed station, I can't work the same stations over and over on 40M, so the move to 80M means fresh meat and many more new QSOs.

Just a thought for future contests, but any thought about adjusting the contest hours of operation to be noon to 7:00pm?  At 8:00 this time around it was totally dark.  The parking lot in the State Park was pretty lonely at that time.

That's what allows the 80M and 160M multiplier magic!
