Mike & Tom,
What is the logic to this, that APRS doesn't equal self spotting??
>Grin< RG8U is going to be spotting me tomorrow - he's one great feed.
73's and let the fun begin.

i haven't had real good luck with it in past years...if i lose the cell tower it disconnects and has to be manually reconnected...
and we are usually too busy making contacts to check the phone...but we will try and keep it going...
on our way soon! Steaks waiting for us up Nort!

Thanks. I did figure out WAP, but sent the correction with the wrong email and it didn?t get automatically posted to the reflector.

Jim,
GL tomorrow ... I'll try to follow you.
One red flag: WAU should (might) be WAP if it is Waupaca. I live next door to it in POR. WAU is Waukesha, down near MILwaukee.

I set up the car today and Taty and I did a test run. Computer control of
the radio and all else worked as expected. SSB contacts were made on 40
and 20 with good signal reports and NR0T-9 was tracking properly on
http://aprs.fi
I use 2 meters for APRS, not cell.
We will substitute 80 meters for 20 towards the last hour or so,
alternating with 40.
Looking forward to lots of QSOs tomorrow!
