Current NWS forecast for La Crosse for Sunday evening:  
Rain before 7pm, then rain and snow between 7pm and 8pm, then snow after 8pm. The snow could be heavy at times.  Low around 24. North wind around 14 mph.  Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible. 

In comparision, NWS forecast for Wausau:
Snow, mainly after 9pm.  Low around 26. North northeast wind 13 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.  Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of around 6 inches.

With questionable weather later on Sunday especially in much of my planned route, that route will be cancelled for WIQP.  Will stay closer to Fond du Lac, and make up route as I go and can get back home easily if weather/highways turn unpleasant.
