[WIQPmail] WIQP And Choice of Antenna

Or I should say BAD choice of antenna,

Or in reality The ONLY available antenna.

I ran The only antenna I have at the moment a full sized elevated 1/4 
vertical for 40 meters with sloping radials. A 20 degree takeoff angle, 
and a near infinite null straight up sure does not help for local 
communications.

Not a Good sign when ya get on and start CQing and it takes till the 
26th contact to get my first "WI" contact and he's a ground wave local. 
Took till the 38th to get the first non ground wave in state contact.

400+ QSO's 58 Mults, ONLY 9 WI counties. WOW!
