Logging Software | |||
WA7BNM Cabrillo Forms for WIQP. This is not really logger software, but a web-based tool for entering your log after the contest. N3FJP WIQP Logger is a good choice if you're looking for a WIQP logger. Version 4.5.5 is the current release. There are two versions of this logger: The cost for a new individual program is $8.99 and upgrades are free (original license number needed). If you haven't upgraded in the last few years, please do so.N3FJP tips N1MM Logger+ is another popular logger.
N1MM Logger+ is free. The great majority of logs received used one of these three logging tools. The WA7BNM log entry tool is very useful if you log on paper or don't use a WIQP-specific logger. You can use it to type in, or paste in your log data, and to submit it. Of the two loggers, the N3FJP logger is easier to set up and use and it does the basic functions very well. The N1MM+ logger is very full-featured and certainly is the choice for those doing advanced rig control and/or want to have other software running besides the logger. Because of these additional features, it has a steeper learning curve than the N3FJP logger. Click on the Tips link above for more information on these two loggers.
